Description: Commander Goldsmith was struck and killed while escorting the Law Enforcement Heroes Run in Apache Arizona. While making a left hand turn Commander Goldsmiths' motorcycle slid from underneath him. Commander Goldsmith sustained massive head and internal injuries, lung contusion, right and left rib fractures, and internal bleeding. Commander Goldsmith was transferred to a local hospital where he died three hours later.
