Description: Police Officer Gormley was accidentally shot and killed while he and a second officer engaged in a foot pursuit of a suspect. While running, the suspect fell over an obstruction in his path. The second officer also fell over the same obstruction and his service revolver discharged. Officer Gormley was shot in the chest and died at the scene. Inadvertent Fire.
