Description: Agent Gomez-Crespo was shot and killed during a robbery while off-duty. Agent Gomez-Crespo and his father, Agent Luis Gomez-Rodriguez, were in a restaurant when a suspect entered and announced a robbery. The two Agents identified themselves as officers and began to take action when the suspect opened fire. Agent Gomez-Crespo was shot five times and his father was wounded. The suspect turned himself in the following day and was charged with murdering a law enforcement officer.
