Description: Chief Grant died of a fatal heart attack which he suffered while delivering a drunken prisoner to the county jail. Chief Grant had to struggle with the prisoner all the way to the jail. Chief Grant was struck several times before reaching the county jail. Once the prisoner was delivered safely to the jail, Chief Grant suffered a fatal heart attack. He was given medical attention immediately but died the same night.
