Description: Night Police Officer Grandstaff suffered a fatal heart attack while in foot pursuit of a fleeing suspect. Officer Grandstaff had arrested a suspect on a charge of passing bad checks and was escorting the suspect to headquarters. The suspect broke free and ran, with Officer Grandstaff in pursuit. Officer Grandstaff suddenly collapsed on the sidewalk and died at the scene.
