Description: Deputy Goodwin was struck and killed while supervising an inmate road crew picking up trash along Highway 512, near Quitman, Mississippi. A truck driver lost control of his rig and struck Deputy Goodwin. Deputy Goodwin was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
