Description: Patrolman Greeley was shot and killed while investigating an an automobile accident. Patrolman Greeley was speaking with the driver of the vehicle that had struck a concrete streetcar platform when the suspect produced a pistol and shot him. A fellow officer returned fire and killed the suspect.
