Description: Deputy Gallegos was shot and killed after stopping a vehicle near Lake Chelan in Chelan County. Deputy Gallegos informed dispatch that he was investigating an individual operating a vehicle on a suspended license. A short time later, a citizen used Deputy Gallegos' radio to report that an officer had been shot. Deputy Gallegos was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
