Description: Deputy Sheriff Gallagher succumbed to injuries sustained in a traffic accident while en route to a domestic disturbance call. Deputy Gallagher had his emergency lights activated when he struck an elk on the roadway. Deputy Gallagher was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries the following night.
