Description: Ranger Privates Grier, William McKay and Nicholas R. Milett were killed when they attempted to arrest a band of outlaws affiliated with the Cortinistas. The Rangers pursued the suspects and a gunfight ensued. Four other Rangers were wounded. Private John Fox surrendered to the Cortinistas and was executed.
