Description: Investigator Gravely was ambushed and shot during a raid on an illegal distillery. Investigator Gravely suffered gunshot wounds to the head, neck and upper torso and died four days later. Deputy Wiley Faw was also shot in the arm but survived. Investigator Gravely' assailant received a life sentence and his young accomplice received three years in a reformatory.
