Description: Agents Gilbert and John Wilson were shot by a suspected bootlegger while attempting an arrest in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Agent Gilbert was shot in the back and died at the hospital. Agent Wilson, who was shot four times, died at the scene. The suspect escaped but was captured a few hours later.
