Description: Deputy Gober and two fellow officers went to investigate reports of a gang of known bootleggers who were spotted in an old stable. Deputy Gober was shot twice by a suspect who then fled the scene. Deputy Gober was rushed to the hospital and was pronounced dead shortly after. The suspect was arrested.
