Description: Patrolman Gagler was shot in an exchange of gunfire when he attempted to serve a warrant for larceny. Patrolman Gagler shot the suspect several times before he collapsed. Patrolman Gagler was transported to the hospital where he died the next day. The suspect died a week later from his wounds.
