Description: Deputy Giacomo was shot and killed by a suspect whom he had just arrested for drunk driving. While processing the suspect outside his holding cell, the suspect produced a small pistol that he had concealed in his boot. A struggle ensued and the suspect shot Deputy Giacomo in the head. The entire incident was videotaped on the department's monitoring system.
