Description: Police Officer Green was fatally shot and Officer Eric Byers was wounded as they approached a group of juveniles to investigate a possible curfew violation. A 17-year-old suspect stepped forward and shot Officer Green in the head. The suspect was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to 15 years in prison.
