Description: Officers Gene, Johnson, and Godwin were attempting to arrest a suspect for being intoxicated in public. As Officers struggled with suspect, he took one of the officers' pistol and began firing. Officer Genes was killed. Officers Frank Johnson and Charles Godwin were wounded.
