Description: Patrolman Hunt was shot in an exchange of gunfire as he and Officer John Corea attempted to question a group of suspicious men. Patrolman Hunt was shot in the chest and died at the scene. Officer Corea was slightly wounded. Their assailant was arrested and convicted of murder.
