Description: Deputy Holden was accidentally shot by a posse member during a whiskey raid at a local farm (friendly fire). The Sheriffs of McCurtain, Pushmataha and Choctaw Counties along with their deputies and Deputy Holden had congregated to serve arrest warrants on two local men for operating an illegal still. The suspects were captured and arrested. The officers confiscated a 60-gallon still and 15 gallons of mash whiskey.
