Description: Patrolman Hollis was shot and killed while responding to a burglary call at a hardware store. Officer Hollis went to the back of the store while his partner covered the front entrance. Officer Hollis' partner heard a shot and ran to the back to the store to find Officer Hollis fatally wounded. The suspect was later arrested in a shootout with Connecticut police, pleaded guilty to murder, and was sentenced to life in prison.
