Description: Deputy Haas was killed in an automobile accident while responding to back-up another officer who was in pursuit of a prowler. As Deputy Haas attempted to pass a large truck, he struck the left rear of the truck, causing his cruiser to roll over several times. Deputy Haas was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
