Description: Police Officer Hebert was intentionally struck and killed by a suspect's vehicle while attempting to place spike-sticks to stop a high-speed pursuit. The suspect driver, who was wanted for assault, deliberately struck Officer Hebert's department vehicle at a high rate of speed. Officer Hebert was mortally wounded in the crash and died a short time later at a local hospital.
