Description: Several Pasco County Sheriff's deputies were assigned to the Rumors Night Club because of recent trouble at the club. Lieutenant Harrison positioned his cruiser across the street from the club to conduct surveillance from the entrance. An 18-year-old suspect shot Lieutenant Harrison with a high-powered rifle from a distance. The shot went through the trunk of the police cruiser and struck Lieutenant Harrison in the back, killing him instantly.
