Description: Officer Huckeba and Officer John Stem responded to a domestic disturbance call at a local residence. As the officers approached the house they were greeted by hale of gunfire. Officer Huckeba was shot in the face and died almost instantly. Officer Stem was shot in the back and paralyzed. Officer Stem died of his injuries on October 19, 2000.
