Description: Deputy Sheriff Haney was shot when he answered a domestic disturbance call at a residence and attempted to arrest the suspect. Although Deputy Haney sustained three gunshot wounds, he was able to subdue the suspect until backup arrived. Deputy Haney was transported to the hospital where died of his injuries two days later.
