Description: Officer Haist was killed in an automobile accident while responding to an emergency call. While responding, with emergency equipment activated, a pick-up truck struck his patrol vehicle near I-75. The patrol unit flipped and landed upside down. Officer Haist died while being transported to a local hospital.
