Description: Constable Hughes was on patrol when he encountered an intoxicated man on a shooting rampage. The suspect shot Constable Hughes three times in the chest. The suspect shot one more person before he was arrested. Constable Hughes died of his injuries three days later. The suspect was charged with murder.
