Description: Constable Hodges was shot and killed by two men whom he had stopped for questioning. When the Constable presented his badge, the men opened fire on him. Two months later Deputy Sheriff R.D. Coleman was shot and killed while attempting to arrest the murderers of Constable Hodges.
