Description: Agent Hancock was killed in an automobile accident while in pursuit of a suspected moonshiner. While attempting to negotiate a curve, Special Agent Hancock lost control of his department vehicle and struck a tree, killing him instantly. A dust storm had hindered visibility and was a contributing factor in the accident.
