Description: Police Officer Hampton was shot during a routine traffic stop. Officer Hampton and his partner stopped a vehicle with an expired license plate sticker when two brothers of the motorist approached and a scuffle ensued. One of the suspects shot Officer Hampton. Officer Hampton was transported to the hospital where he died. The suspect was arrested and charged with first degree murder.
