Description: Officer Hill was ambushed and shot in the head as he arrived at the scene of a call. The suspect had shot two of his companions with a semi-automatic shotgun after they refused to give him a ride home. The suspect then hid in the bushes and fired three shots at Officer Hill as he pulled to a stop. The suspect fled the scene and was killed in a shootout with the police. Officer Larry Cramer was shot in the knee but survived his injuries.
