Description: Deputy Sheriff Hester was killed in an automobile crash while responding to an assault in progress call involving weapons. Deputy Hester lost control of his patrol vehicle while negotiating a curve which caused his vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a tree. Deputy Hester was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
