Description: Prohibition Officer Hensley was ambushed and shot while he was on a camping trip with his family in Chauncey Hollow, West Virginia. The moonshiners knew who Officer Hensley was and were concerned that he would find their liquor stills which were hidden nearby. The moonshiners opened fire on the group, killing Officer Hensley, his son Don and a third man.
