Description: Police Officer Howard collapsed an hour after responding to the scene of a raging fire. Officer Howard assisted the firefighters to carry the hose line and remove furniture from the burning building after the students had been evacuated. As Officer Howard walked back to his patrol car, he collapsed. Officer Howard was transported to the hospital where he died of a heart attack.
