Description: Deputy Hartwick, Sheriff Jones, and Undersheriff Lancaster went to a local farm house to arrest Mr. Jesse Powell for shooting two juveniles. As the officers approached the house, Mr. Powell opened fire on them. Deputy Hartwick was shot in the head and died at the scene.
