Description: Inspector Holliday suffered a fatal heart attack while participating in rescue efforts during Hurricane Beulah. Inspector Holliday was engaged in continuous emergency work assignments for three days. During the third day he was stricken, suffering from extreme shortness of breath and pains in the chest. He was taken to a doctor who gave him an injection and concluded that he was suffering from heart failure due to over-exertion. Inspector Holliday was hospitalized and died of pneumonia due to coronary thrombosis and emphysema on October 18, 1967.
