Description: Sheriff Hubbard and his men were attempting to serve a warrant on a suspect under indictment for hog stealing. They forced their way into the house where the suspect was hiding and Sheriff Hubbard was shot and killed. Two other members of the posse were injured. The suspect was shot and killed.
