Description: Private Haley was shot while in a high speed pursuit of a robbery suspect. As Private Haley pulled alongside the suspect vehicle on his patrol motorcycle, the suspect drew a revolver and fired. Private Hale was shot in the chest and died at the scene. The suspect was convicted of first degree murder.
