Description: Officers Hallett S.J. Lee and Joseph LaCroix were on patrol when they observed a vehicle with four occupants. When they men saw the officers they pulled up their collars to cover their faces. The officers decided to stop the vehicle to investigate the suspicious behavior. As the officers approached the vehicle three shots were fired. Officer Hallett was shot in the head and killed. Officer Lee returned fire striking the vehicle. The suspects were not captured.
