Description: Motorcycle accident. Officer Higginbotham was en route to an accident when a truck swerved into the path of his police motorcycle. He died of head and chest injuries sustained in the crash. Less than a year earlier he had survived a serious gunshot wound he received while struggling with a mentally deranged man.
