Description: Deputy Marshal Hall was shot and killed while attempting to serve a warrant on a suspect wanted for stealing tools. The armed suspect was waiting for Deputy Hall and fired as the deputy approached. Town Marshal Lewis White rushed to the scene and shot the suspect as he reloaded his shotgun.
