Description: On January 30, 2014, Police Officer Hamill and two fellow officers were exposed to the H1N1 flu virus while searching a residence during a drug purchase operation. All three officers became ill. Officer Hamill died as a result of a stroke due to the flu virus two weeks later on February 19, 2014.
