Description: Detective Hanger died of a heart attack while investigating a marijuana grow as part of the Cannabis Eradication Team in Yakima County, Washington. The team had driven to a trail head and shortly after beginning their hike on a mountainous trail into the grow area, Detective Hanger collapsed. Detective Hanger was transported to the hospital via a helicopter and was pronounced dead upon arrival.
