Description: Patrol Officer Harris was shot when he attempted to quell a disturbance at a social club. Officer Harris was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and died shortly after. Three suspects were arrested. One suspect was convicted of second degree murder and sentenced to 20-30 years in prison. The second suspect was convicted of manslaughter and sentenced to eight to ten years. The third suspect was acquitted.
