Description: Officer Hooker was shot when he attempted to question a man regarding a theft that had taken place earlier. Officer Hooker received a complaint from a citizen regarding theft of personal items. Officer Hooker approached a man who walking alongside the railroad tracks and questioned him about the bundle he was carrying. The man drew a gun, shot Officer Hooker in the chest and fled.
