Description: Police Officer Haywood collapsed after taking a suspect into custody. Officer Haywood and a fellow officer went to a saloon to arrest four suspects who were involved in a fight. The suspects resisted arrest and a struggle ensued between the officers and the suspects. The suspects were subdued and escorted to lockup. After Officer Haywood locked the cell door he suffered a heart attack and died at the scene.
