Description: On February 1, 1912, Deputy Constable Hennech was attacked when he went to a residence to arrest a suspect wanted for assault. The brother of the suspect grabbed Deputy Hennech by the neck while the other family members stabbed him with knives and cut him with razors. Deputy Hennech died of his injuries four days later. Two suspects were convicted and each sentenced to 22 years in prison.
