Description: Agent Hollis and Agent Samuel Cowley were shot while attempting to arrest George "Baby Face" Nelson for murder. The Agents were on the lookout for the suspect who was reportedly driving a stolen automobile in the Barrington, Illinois area. The agents spotted him and shots were fired. Agent Hollis died at the scene. Agent Cowley died the following day. Baby Face Nelson, who was also responsible for the deaths of Officer Francis Mulvihill, Patrolman Martin O'Brien, Officer Howard Wagner and Agent W. Carter Baum, also died in the shootout.
