Description: Police Officer Hunter died of injuries sustained two days earlier when the cruiser was hit from behind by an impaired driver. Officer Hunter was working a crash scene with the emergency lights activated and flares deployed when the cruiser was struck. Officer Hunter was transported to the hospital suffering from a traumatic brain injury and died on June 7, 2016. The suspect was arrested.
