Description: Trooper Holland died from an allergic reaction to a yellow jacket?s sting while on duty at the highway patrol's commercial driver's license facility. Trooper Holland was seated in his office when he was stung by the yellow jacket. Trooper Holland applied his allergy medication from a kit he carried at all times for this type of incident. Paramedics also re-applied allergy serum before transporting Trooper Holland to a local hospital where he died approximately one hour later.
